Our Process

Our specialty is custom window treatments and we cover all the options except the view. Our large library of fabric samples gives you thousands of choices for those distinctive draperies or valances as well as upholstery samples for upholstering that favorite chair or sofa. We carry blind and shade samples from the major suppliers to compliment your fabric choices. (find out more on our products and services page)

Service is the most important part of our business and we are proud to provide you with the design expertise and technical support you need to make this important purchase. Our installer is trained to professionally and correctly install whatever product you have selected for your home or office — explaining the features and demonstrating the correct operation to ensure your long-lasting enjoyment of your custom window treatments. Remember everything we do is custom, so we will take your measurements, help you with your selection, and install to your satisfaction, all at a price you can afford. Local pick up and delivery is complimentary.

How to Proceed

There are two ways we would suggest that you proceed from here:

  1. If you know what you are looking for, come into the store and look through our samples to make your selections. We would then make an appointment to come to your home, measure your windows or furniture, and give you a quote.
  2. If you are unsure of what you want, feel free to make an appointment for us to come to your home first. This will be a time for us to listen to you – why do you want something at the window ( sun, privacy, esthetics, etc. ), hear about your lifestyle (casual, formal, traditional), talk about color schemes, and take note of your current colors, styles, and fabrics. Then we will come back to the store and search for fabrics and styles that fit your individual needs. An additional appointment is scheduled to present the selections to you. A quote will be submitted for your consideration.

At any time, you may check out the fabric samples to see how they look in your home. We would suggest you bring in any samples you have to help you with your selections – carpet, arm covers from furniture, wall color, etc. We do have natural fluorescent lighting, but the samples may look different in your home with your other colors.

We do not check out our “hard” window treatment samples (such as blinds or shades) but we do bring samples to your home when we measure so you can select the color that blends beautifully with your home.

Payments and Charges

There is no charge for appointments or measurements (within a 30 miles radius) with the exception of our interior design consultations.

Our interior design consultation consists of an hourly charge to consult about topics of interest to you such as: color schemes, placement of furniture or wall decor, furniture colors or styles, carpet or wall color, shopping for items you need to purchase, or just a discussion about a plan of action for your decorating scheme. Our hourly charge (within a 30 mile radius) for this consultation is $90.00 and will be charged at the time of the consultation. Call for hourly rate outside the 30 mile radius.

We ask for a 50% down payment at the time you place your order and the balance is due upon completion of the work. We accept cash, personal checks, Master Card, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
